Fancy Pets Grooming Terms & Conditions

At Fancy Pets Grooming it is my intention to offer a stress- free grooming experience for you & your pet, please kindly read the following

Dog’s Well-Being 

Your pet's comfort and safety are my priority.

You as the dog owner will advise Fancy Pets Grooming of any medical conditions prior to appointment. Any dog showing aggression &/or biting may be refused service in the interest of safety for all involved.

Fancy Pets Grooming will not perform any grooming procedure that causes pain or a level of stress that i think is excessive. In some situations, this can include nail trimming.
 

Matted Pets 

Please ensure your dog's coat is maintained in between visits to ensure your dog enjoys coming here. It is unfair on your dog just to be brushed once every few weeks when they come to the groomers.

 Keep in mind that a matted coat can cause numerous health conditions including irritation, itching & skin infections. Removing a heavily matted coat includes risks of nicks, cuts or abrasions due to warts, moles & skinfolds that have become trapped & hidden in your dog's mats. Heavy matting can also trap moisture on the dog's skin, which if untreated can cause fungus or bacteria to grow skin irritation. Fancy Pets grooming will not be held responsible for any pre-existing conditions due to matted coat. However, in the event that I notice any unusual conditions Fancy Pets will inform you.

*If your pet is severely matted, there is only so much I can do, Fancy Pets will NOT de-matt a dog for their safety & humane purposes. The coat will therefore likely need to be shave down, which will enable a start over with undamaged hair at the next grooming appointment.

 ****ADDITIONAL FEES  may apply due to heavily matting & long & overdue coats.

Fleas & Ticks

fleas/ticks are found on your pet during grooming process, you will be contacted to pick up your pet immediately. You  will be charged for any time already spent with your dog or 50% of the groom price to cover missed wages & cleaning costs. It is your responsibility as a dog owner to make sure your dog is free from any parasites before entering the salon. Your pet should be on flea/tick prevention, if not please make sure to see your veterinarian prior to appointment.

Senior Dog’s

For some senior dogs the grooming experience can be a stressful event for them. Fancy Pets Grooming will try & make the experience as comfortable & stress free as possible. Only grooming work that your dog will tolerate will will be carried out as I will not groom any dog if it causes them any undue stress.

Late Drop Off/Pickup 

On the day of appointment, please be punctual as I work by appointment only. I can NOT accept your dog after 15 minutes past your schedule time. Appointment will need to be rescheduled.  Dogs are to be picked up within 30 minutes of completion of their groom (unless pre-arranged). Typically I give you a time frame upon drop of, I always text 30 minutes prior to your dog being ready for pick up. Pick up past the 30-minute point will occur in an additional fee of $10. 

Cancellations,Reschedules & No Shows 

Fancy Pets Grooming requires a 24hr notice for cancelations &/or reschedules. Repeated cancellations, reschedules or no shows will result in a refusal of services. 

Media Release 

This release authorizes Fancy Pets Grooming LLC to photograph &/or video of your pet for the company website & social media pages.

Payments

For payment method I accept, Zelle, Cash, & Venmo.

Additional Fees 

 In the case of any fees being added to a service, I will do my best to notify you of any additional costs before providing services, so you are able to decide on how you wish to proceed.
